국립부경대학교 대학원 4차산업융합바이오닉스공학과 신화랑 석사과정생이 제30회 광전자 및 광통신 학술회의(COOC 2023)에서 우수포스터상을 수상했다.
신화랑 석사과정생은 이번 학술회의에서 논문 ‘Selective photothermal treatment with non-ablative laser for stress urinary incontinence’(지도교수 강현욱)로 상을 받았다.
이 논문은 비절제 레이저를 이용한 복압성 요실금의 선택적인 광열 치료법 연구 결과를 제시해 우수한 평가를 받았다.
신화랑 석사과정생은 이번 연구에서 360도 광 전달이 가능한 산광형 광섬유를 이용해 돼지 요도 조직 내에 레이저를 조사하는 방식으로 연구를 진행했다.
그는 레이저를 조사한 돼지 요도 조직 내 근육의 변화와 콜라겐 형성을 통한 복압성 요실금 레이저 치료의 가능성을 확인하고, 이를 논문에 실었다.
한편 제30회 광전자 및 광통신 학술회의는 한국광학회 포토닉스 분과, 한국통신학회 광통신연구회, 대한전자공학회 광파 및 양자전자공학연구회, 대한전기학회 광전자 및 전자파연구회 공동 주최로 최근 한화리조트 해운대에서 열렸다. <부경투데이>
